Lacona Beach

With a length of 1,2 kilometres, Lacona is the longest beach on the Island of Elba after the one in Marina di Campo. This golden arch facing Montecristo is called after the gulf bearing the same name, and is sheltered by Capo Fonza and the long peninsula of Capo Stella with its many beaches scattered along the coast that can be reached only by sea.

Thanks to its golden sands, the water that is shallow till quite far out, the numerous bathing establishments and facilities on the beach, and the services behind it, this beach is very popular among teenagers as well as families with small children.

There is also a fun park nearby.

How to get to Lacona Beach
Lacona is in the Commune of Capoliveri in the southern part of Elba. You can get there very easily even by public transport, and just cross the pine grove and you will get right to the beach.

Bathing establishments, sun beds and umbrella, pedal boats, canoes and boats for hire, landing lane, buoy, diving center, sailing and windsurfing schools, bars, restaurants, amusement park. Numerous free and paid parking, market, newsstand, bazaar behind it.

Felciaio Beach

It is a small, quiet and peaceful beach not far from the Residence, and is on the southern side of the Island of Elba.

Some rocks divide the two halves of the beach. The part you get to first from the path consists of fine sand and pebbles, and it looks on to a small bay that is partially closed off by natural and artificial cliffs. What makes Felciaio unique are the rocks brought there years ago when the owners of the villa above the beach decided to build a small port for their boats, and this has given birth to a sort of natural swimming pool that is very suggestive and in no way spoils the surrounding area.

There are a lot of fish in between the rocks that are all around, and this makes the crystal clear sea perfect for lovers of snorkeling.

How to get to Felciaio Beach The only way to get to the beach is on foot along the small, narrow road that leads to the car park.

Norsi Beach

The Beach of Norsi lies the middle of Golfo Stella, on the southern side of the Island of Elba.

Norsi is a quiet beach, only 400 metres long, and is quite unique thanks to the crystal clear sea, the mild, Mediterranean climate, and the strong perfumes in the surrounding, untouched nature.

The beach, consisting of small, dark coloured stones and sand mixed with dry Posidonia washed up by the waves is shaped like two arches separated by a dry outcropping, very popular with children.

There is a small bar and a bathing establishment on the beach.

How to get to Norsi Beach
The beach is in the Commune of Capoliveri, about 1,4 km after the turning for Lacona on the road from Portoferraio for Porto Azzurro. When you see the signpost on your left follow the grit road down to the beach.
