The location

The residence is located on the southern side of the Island of Elba, in the center of the island, in the Margidore area, near Lacona.

How to get to the Residence Casa del Golfo (from Portoferraio): Distance between the harbour of Portoferraio and the Residence: 10 km, about 15 minutes. Leave the Harbour following the sign "all directions (tutte le direzioni)". Follow the multi-lane arterial thoroughfare till the end and at the traffic circle, turn left, direction Porto Azzurro.
After about 800 m, at the traffic light, turn right following the sign "Colle Reciso-Lacona". The road go up to the hill, where you can enjoy a nice view over Portoferraio, Lacona and the famous island of Montecristo.
Once down, in front of a small square with a paninoteca Fame Chimica, a minimarket and a bank, turn left at the aroundabout. Follow the straight road till a crossing where you turn left direction Capoliveri; after about 400 m on your right, you'll find our sign and a small road that leads you to the Residence Casa del Golfo.

How to get to the Residence Casa del Golfo (from Rio Marina):
Distance between the harbour of Rio Marina and the Residence: 20 km, about 30 minutes.
Leave Rio Marina taking direction Porto Azzurro. Then follow directions to Portoferraio. After about 3 km from Porto Azzurro at the crossroads, turn left to Lacona. After about 3 km again on your left, you'll find our sign and the small road leadings to the Residence Casa del Golfo.
